Cologne, Germany will soon again be invaded by masses of gamers travelling to the world's largest convention for interactive games and entertainment, gamescom 2010. The convention begins on the 19th of August 2010 and runs for four consecutive days. Last year's event gathered over 245,000 gaming enthusiasts and professionals!

 

If you live in Europe and love Guild Wars 2, you're in luck. NCsoft will be giving visitors the opportunity to trump their friends and try the game in its world-wide first public hands-on demo. ArenaNet staff will of course be on-hand to help out, including studio head Mike O'Brien and German community manager Martin Kerstein.

 

Aion rocked the show floor unrivalled in last year's rendition and will be well-represented even this year! Visitors will be given the opportunity to get a Western exclusive hands-on of the anticipated 2.0 game update, Aion: Assault on Balaurea.

 

There are plenty of other cool activities planned in addition to the above and that we're certain fans of both Guild Wars and Aion will enjoy!
